Market Access Innovation Playbook

Background

The cross-franchise Market Access team for a global pharmaceutical company often received requests to execute new ideas from field leadership, but the ideas coming in were often incomplete, and the Market Access team struggled to frame and vet each idea.

The Market Access team was in the early stages of establishing a sub-team dedicated to Market Access Strategy & Innovation and were seeking a way to formally inventory and address innovative ideas from field team leadership.

Approach

The Recombinators team worked with the client to frame the nature of ideas, typical solutions, and greatest roadblocks and inefficiencies experienced by the teams.

Approach

The Recombinators team worked with the client to frame the nature of ideas, typical solutions, and greatest roadblocks and inefficiencies experienced by the teams.

We then crafted a playbook to carry each idea from inception to implementation, using our Strategic Innovation Methodology as a basis, with the ability to scale up and down in complexity based on the degree of innovation require to solve the problem, the budget involved, and the complexity of the solution. This playbook included all supporting materials to guide the user to completing each component.

Output

At the time of writing, the playbook was in pilot phase, and adjustments will be made based on pilot progress.
